TEETH WHITENING
There are many options for whitening your teeth available on the market today, aside from your dental office. There are over-the-counter whitening strips, toothpastes with whitening ingredients as well as bleaching systems. Any of these may work to give you a beautiful white smile, but this isn’t going to happen anywhere near as fast as it would if you had your teeth whitened professionally.
There is office care at the dentist's office and home bleaching at home. In both cases, the bleaching gel is used to bleach the surface of the teeth.
For home care, place the gel in a customized tray and have it used for 2 to 8 hours a day (depending on concentration). Although there are individual differences, the results usually appear in about 3 days. After that, use it for a few more days while controlling it, and drop it to the shade you want.
With office treatment, about an hour of treatment will be effective for three days of home care. Recommended for those who do not have time.
